  While we did have some confusion on initial set up/installation, I'm happy with the service.
  
  Conifer uses a line of site internet that works on (I believe), radio waves. I have good ping speed which is great if you online game or stream, and generally the internet stays connected. We have the "Plus" plan, which is decent, but the upload speed is bad. I'd up our package, but it's a steep increase for the next plan up so I'll will wait and see if with some recent upgrades they've done they offer some new packages.
  
  Sometimes we do have the internet go down, or some lag issues. This is not the norm. Generally we have great connection and get the speeds we pay for. The company is very responsive via their Facebook page, Facebook Messenger, through Email, or through a phone call. There are no crazy "phone trees" when you call them...you get a real person quick, and if needed the actual owner of the company will call you back. That alone gives them 5 stars imo. They don't bs you when there's an issue and will tell you exactly what's going on and provide a realistic eta for repair.
  
  Conifer has NO DATA CAPS. This is huge. Satellite Internet was our only other option in the Don Pedro/La Grange area. Streaming and Gaming is very bad on Satellite, plus it has a data cap. That means when you hit a certain amount of usage, you're done for the month...kind of like a cell phone internet plan.No thanks!
  
  Just remember, the more people you have in your house using the internet, the higher the package you're going to need. 3 people using the internet on a "Lite" or "Basic" Plan isn't going to work. You just don't have enough internet for everyone to use at once. Even on our plan I sometimee have to ask someone to stop using web based anything while I accomplish a task. Again, this will all be dependent on what you use internet for and how many people are in the home, but as a general don't go for a lower cost plan to save money if there are a few of you and you all have smart phones or devices that connect to the internet.
  
  Check these people out. They're local, professional, and offer a service that many of us in "the sticks" wouldn't have without their hard work!
